Hello everyone!
If you’ve been following the HomeGrown Cup for a while, you may have noticed our Instagram account @homegrowncup, which we’ve built up to over 15,000 followers over more than 10 years, has been disabled on May 28th and will be permanently deleted.
Obviously we are devastated… That account wasn’t just a feed of photos; it was a living archive of our community, our history, our journey.
It was where we connected with thousands of growers, fans, and supporters from all over the world. It hurts, but we’re not giving up.
We’re building again.
Update, 15:15, 3rd of June 2025: our new Instagram account @homegrowncupnl has also been suspended.
Update, 20:52, 10th of June 2025: our new Instagram account @homegrowncupnl came back after appealing. Tread carefully. You’re welcome to follow us, but too much interaction could trigger the algorithm again.
The HomeGrown Cup lives on
Despite this setback, we’re still going full steam ahead for the 2025 Weekender.
And this year is extra special, as we’re celebrating 10 years of the HomeGrown Cup!
That’s a decade of dedication, homegrown passion, and one-of-a-kind gatherings built around the love for the plant.
Stay connected
To stay connected in the future, we’ve done a few things:
We created a new Instagram account @homegrowncupnl, which we ask you all to follow. Note that mass following can however get our account deleted again.Update, 15:15, 3rd of June 2025: our new Instagram account @homegrowncupnl has also been suspended.Update, 20:52, 10th of June 2025: our new Instagram account @homegrowncupnl came back after appealing. Tread carefully. You’re welcome to follow us, but too much interaction could trigger the algorithm again. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.- In the future, we will not share on the account any pictures of products. Our aim is instead to publish our feed like you’re used to, in the future, here on the website.
- We will no longer accept or reply to DMs on Instagram. Instead:
- Apart from our regular email at info@homegrowncup.nl, we also now offer the encrypted option of contacting us at homegrowncup@proton.me. It is recommended to first make an encrypted email yourself through Proton.
- You can now sign up to our newsletter to make sure we never lose touch with you again.
- We’ve also opened up our Discord server to stay in touch with you all. You can join the server by clicking here.
HomeGrown Cup 2025 Weekender
With that said, it is now possible to register for the 2025 Weekender through the registration form as usual.
Visitor tickets for Saturday and Sunday
If you’re not a grower but would like to attend the event anyway, you can now buy tickets to attend. There are two options:
- Enthusiast tickets are just for Sunday and include a goodiebag, free food, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- NEW: Professional tickets give access to the venue on Saturday AND Sunday, and include a goodiebag, free food, and non-alcoholic drinks.
To get your tickets, head to the ticketshop.
Looking for sponsors
We are still looking for brands to join our sponsors of the 2025 Weekender.
